Do you ever have trouble balancing a little of everything?
Example: I can't seem to do a little of everything. It seems like go big or nothing. If I am busy with cleaning/de-cluttering, I forget about scrap booking, reading, photography and everything else that I do. When I get into a book, I forget everything else. I must credit my OCD tendencies.

Yes. That is how I get my sewing done. Nothing else is getting done. (well, close to nothing.) And I whine to myself about the stuff piled everywhere and wish each child in my house had only 1 toy, and then I disappear into my sewing space and forget about the rest of the house again! But I don't have OCD... although I may have tendencies toward addiction!
I feel like I am always ONLY doing a little of everything. I never get fully immersed in anything and then nothing ever feels complete! Either way is just annoying!
Oh honey. That is the story of my life.
I am task oriented to a fault also. this is why I stay up too late cleaning at night. I like to clean when no one (like children) is goign to ask me for ANYTHING. I hate to be interrupted when working on anything.
