lookie lookie what I have

I was SO thankful when they called and said they were running AHEAD of schedule and wondered if we would be there to accept them. I was like WHOO, bring it on! (lots of things planned between 12-6 that I was going to have to cancel) Also, Randy was still home (THANK GOODNESS)

They were P.I.S.S.E.D. When they pulled up, they told Randy that they were going to end up taking out many of the trees to deliver them. Randy said well, can't you just park at the bottom and roll them up? They responded with "well, it will be harder on our legs." HELLO, Ruin every tree lining my driveway or just walk an extra driveway length? That is why I was SO happy Randy was there because I probably would have been bullied into letting them up the driveway.

Now my garage is a holding ground for cabinets until they are installed.

Other updates:

Yesterday afternoon the stain was put on the floor. HOLY H#)( It looks SO DIFFERENT AND SO GOOD. We stayed outside (even ordering pizza for delivery)and ate dinner on the front porch (while the mosquitoes had their dinner on with me). Then we quickly did homework and bath time upstairs. They wanted us to stay off the floors completely. SO today they showed up around 8 and within an hour, we were prisoners in the basement because we weren't suppose to be on the floors for 4 hours. Oh my! I am watching Schaefer, so two toddlers stuck in the basement? It has actually been pretty easy.

Tomorrow morning, another coat.

Monday, Cabinets.

Some where in there, we have to find the time to prime and paint, oh and pick out the color (which i have narrowed down to 4 very similar shades) We can't be on the floor until Sunday sometime, and we have a party to attend, so I am not TOO sure when that will happen. Any power painters out there?

I cannot believe they would even think of wrecking your landscaping to simply make their JOB easier! Sounds like things are moving right along! Good luck with your confinement!

Cabinets! HOORAY!
Flooring! HOORAY!

How is it that I am actually feeling suspense and excitement of your new kitchen? It's like being on pins and needles waiting for the unveiling. I'm really excited for you!
