The first floor is so close to being livable again, I can just taste it. No, literally.(I have yet to cover up the vents so we are not sucking dust through the duct system. Of course that would probably require a working system, so maybe I am okay.) They are going to start to sand the existing hardwood floors TOMORROW! The drywaller is putting up what I think is the last coat, and the floor people are prepping the floors as we speak and he thinks they should probably have the kitchen hardwood in by tomorrow. Hallelujah! Of course I think I am getting my hopes up because I believe they are just doing 2 of the 3 coats, so I don't know when they are going to be totally done. But it looks as if maybe my cabinets should be in by Tuesday. That is just in a week. Oh my goodness, I think I just located the light at the end of the tunnel.
Oh and the jeans? It is cool out for the first time in weeks and I get to wear jeans again. Oh how I love pants weather (make no mistake, I don't want it to be cold, just jeans and a cute shirt with a sweater in case I get chilly!)

Okay. It is definitely not cool enough for jeans--at least not for me! :) But, I can tell it is around the corner.....I'm scared (of cold and flu season). Someone hold me.
Man, I want to wear jeans. Stupid desert ;0) Can't wait to see pics of a finished kitchen!!!
