Question: Guess what this is?
Answer: It is the first OFFICIAL piece of my kitchen that I put away!! Yay me!
(unfortunatley it is 12:30 and that is all I have done)
Since it is raining, no one is blogging and I don't feel like doing much, I thought I would post a few pictures of my new baby. Enjoy your weekend.

The bathroom, obviously it isn't done yet, but the tile and color is great! (look at those floors)
This is the dry bar. The space contains the beverage fridge. Do you see off to the left, that is the wood that continues into the family room. One big skating rink, I LOVE IT!

There will be two backed stools right on the end of the island.
That is as far as we have gotten so far. There is still a lot to go. I am hoping they get my bathroom done soon so we can have a sink. I won't be able to have a sink for a few more weeks because the granite has to go in. But the appliances should go in on Monday or so, and that will make me well over 50% functional. Oh man! It is actually starting to look like a kitchen!
after looking at these, I think I need to go have a V-8. It seems like they are all leaning a little bit. I pulled them right off the camera, so sorry about the tilting quality!

I think I just had to wipe a wee bit of drool from the corner of my mouth. Your kitchen is beyond gorgeous!! And the flooring... WHOA! Striking, elegant and absolutley perfect. For beginning demo without an exact floor plan in mind, you guys laid out an awesome kitchen and it went amazingly quick, at least as a reader in blogland anyhow.
God, you know you're a real grown up when you begin to swoon over a KITCHEN of all things! Even when it belongs to someone else. Oh my.
ok, I am jealous of your HUGEASS kitchen with the HUGE island and the wet bar!!!
I am going to ask you the same question I asked maryb: what is the first real meal you will cook in it when its all done?!?!?!?!?
What a big difference! It's looks beautiful. I am sooooo jealous...but in a nice way.
