Great Sunday

So if this weekend could happen everyday, it would be perfect. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. It was gorgeous! We were outside most of yesterday and today and my children got to bed soooo well after a day outside.

So my Caitie got a boo boo today. Actually it was three. It was on her eye/cheek, elbow and knee. She had a run in with Ethan, our across the street neighbor, She walked one way and he drove his bike one way and they kind of met in the middle. I will download a few pictures and post them, soon. I figured it would look a lot worse tomorrow.

BIG NEWS>>>> Randy and I got a babysitter. We kind of went on a date. Now here is the funny part. We went grocery shopping at Walmart no less!! I know you're all jealous!! We lead such an exciting life don't we? It had been so long since we have done that. I didn't hear "Mommy can I have that?" One time. AHHH, heaven!!

We also tackled Lowe's today.. OR as Madison calls it L O W E aphosterfeeder S. It makes me smile every time she says that. Anyway, we actually accomplished things today. It was kind of scary, we agreed and it was relatively easy. We didn't purchase the cabinet but found one in the Kraftmaid catalog and mirrors, over the toilet storage, and tile. Of course, there is a lot of cream and tan. I was an art major, and I can't seem to get any color. I think we are going to accent with Black or very dark fixtures and some color on the walls. My sister in law thought that with lighter cabinets and floors, it had more of a clean feeling. After looking at the darker tile and cabinets, I kind of agree. Anyway, it was pretty productive. Now we are just waiting on the contractor to make sure we can actually afford it..

Katie comes out tomorrow, so we are excited to have company. They sure aren't having much luck finding a house. Maybe the third time is the charm right???
