A little of this a little of that.

So I feel like I should blog something. It has been a few days since I last posted. It seemed like I was posting everyday for a while and now seem to be in a slump. We actually had a very busy weekend. Sheila (Randy's mom) moved into a new condo this past week. We went down on Friday to help her unpack. She hates to unpack and I have a secret obsession with unpacking. I LOVE it. I know it is weird, but I never complained about moving. It was kind of like Christmas all over. Opening up the boxes, finding places for it. I think my OCD tendencies come out and it is also an instant gratification. If there are 15 boxes sitting in a room, you can go through all of them and see the improvement. Plus it is a great time to purge. Anyway, I put her kitchen away while the girls played in the boxes and in the paper.

Saturday, we watched Becca. They are all really starting to play very well together. Madison seems to be the leader...shocking I know. The little girls are starting to fight over toys and really interact. That was the first step to actually playing with kids for Madison. First she went through the stealing toys faze and then started playing with other kids.

Sunday after church, we headed back down to Sheila's house to pick up some furniture that doesn't fit in her new house.. SCORE FOR ME!! I picked up an old cabinet for my new bathroom. I am not positive Randy likes it, but he is being a good sport. There is a very narrow cabinet with doors that I am putting in the hallway upstairs. I have to get Renee and all of her decorating wisdom up here so I can figure out how to decorate them and make them look even better. I also got a table of some sort. It is too tall for a coffee table, too long for an end table and too short for a side board/buffet table. I am not really sure what it is, but it looks good in the living room. I also picked up a small end table, so I was able to retire the TV tray. I am sure Randy was not heart broken about that one!

That was our weekend in a nutshell. We went to the gym today. Oh yes, this is becoming a trend now. Watch out world, Tracy is on her way to the skinny jean (but not the new style with the tapered leg... eewh! Those just look horrible on me. To close to tight rolling, you know you did it too, you may have called it something else, but it was where you folded the end of your pants over and rolled them up.) Today, I went out and shopped by myself. That I have come to realize is a dangerous thing. I am able to browse more and longer. I end up buying more. Not just at Target, but the grocery store is horrible. I can also spend an enormous about of time in the grocery store too. It is like I am actually seeing the food and not just running up and down the aisles throwing stuff in the cart hoping to get to the frozen food section without one of the girls having a meltdown. Good times!

And since I don't usually have a post without pictures, I found this picture of Madison at about the same age as Cait. What do you think? I showed Madison and he asked me when I took that picture. In other words, he had no idea which one was Madison and which one was Cait. Do you know who is who?

~~Extra note: Do you need a neat unique Christmas present? Check out Melissa's Honeybee. She is an old friend of mine who has the neatest little gifts. I bought the girls some of the bows and hair ties. They love them! ~~

OH WOW! They look so much alike! I love love love comparison photos. Awesome. I think that Madison is the second picture. Am I right?

I am jealous of your love for unpacking and arranging things. I love to THINK about it, but never actually DO it. I hate unpacking. I hate arranging furniture. Our house still doesn't feel like we moved in entirely, and we've been here since April.
