The girls loved their many many presents. I was surprised with a very very special gift.
Randy bought me the Canon 40D that I have been salivating over since its release a few months ago. He even knows me well enough to buy the extended warranty for dropping or any other breakage. I am in hog heaven. He can be so thoughtful. I have read through a few of the manuals, but have yet to really play with it. I am a little leery about getting it all out with the girls around and even when I brave it and get it out, it seems like they keep asking me to put yet another new toy together. I don't remember them opening that many. Anyway, I am SO looking forward to playing with the camera.
I am trying to stay away from the Post Christmas blahs. I am diving head first into my destroyed office (thanks Renee for the inspiration). Seeing improvement in there has kept my spirits up for the most part. Do any of you get the post blahs? Have any of you hit the sales? Do I need to rush out or have I already missed it? It was rainy and gross here the last two days and I didn't want to drag the kids out. Maybe tomorrow.
We have entered the Webkinz age... Of course, she is still a little young for the games. The games are how they make Webkinz money and buy food for their pets and make houses, etc, so guess who gets to play the games so she has money?? Yep, you guessed it. I am getting pretty good at them:)
The biggest hit for gifts. The lipstick from Maw Maw and Grandad. (I ended up hiding it because they were using it so much their lips were lathered in it and it was starting to extend up the cheeks.)

Not a great picture of the girls, but you can see their cute jammies and the doll house Santa got left them. They have played with that thing so much, it has already paid for itself.
~~Update~~ Randy's dad had a pretty big set back a day or two before Christmas. He is back in the hospital with a staff infection in his incision. He is stable now and from what I have been told getting better everyday. He had to spend Christmas in the hospital, but he is once again heading in the right recovery direction. Please keep the prayers coming, he still really needs them.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I am now fighting the urge to tear down everything Christmas and get my house back to the boring everyday house. I have found I have to do it slowly though. Anytime Madison sees me head into the living room, she runs in there and tells me not to take down the tree. I guess it can stay one day longer. I am looking forward to your Christmas posts!

me...great christmas but done. i tossed the tree out in the front yard...actually my kids did it and packed it all up and put away since yesterday. i enticed them with me painting the play room for all the new toys. and boy did we until 3 am this morning. now i am on the late night sleep in mode and that will be trouble on wednesday when the kids go back to school. i have loved the kids being home and no sports and no activities and especially no friends in and out in and out. everyone has been too busy. great. life is good for me. clean house.new year. i am not sick and i also got a new camara/dvd video capable monster. i was so shocked but because i had no idea what to do or how to turn the thing on or anything. i did figure it out. i love it...........anyway, have a great day.........and a happy new year..............col
It looks like the girls made out very well!!! We had a great Christmas and yes, I did hit the sales the day after. I always have the most luck at Target. I had to return something there yesterday and I was shocked to see how much stuff was left over. Maybe you should check that out?????
It looks and sounds like you had a very nice Christmas. I am so much loving the pictures of your girls and those gorgeous little dresses... way cute!
I've already been checking out some after Christmas sales and have had some pretty good luck already. It makes my whole day when I see the bright red 75% off signs posted in front of the shiny, blinging Christmas merchandise! I love it!
Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us!
Tracy! Congrats on that camera! I'm totally in love too! It's definately a tad intimidating huh? :-) I almost kissed her goodnight the first night! LOL I have a lot to learn. I have a picture of Renee's Jack that I need to drop by someday. I printed it with the frame around it (the same as the one of him on my site) just to see how it would print. Glad to see your holidays were GREAT!
