Family fun!

WOW, 2 posts in one day! Phew, I am worn out!!

The girls woke up the other day to snow on the ground. Well, I bet you can guess what the first words out of their mouths were.. "Can we go out and play in the snow??" Well, at the time, I wasn't feeling well, and Randy had them running with him, so they didn't get to go outside. By Friday afternoon, I figured I had better get them out in the snow before it all melted. Some moms go out and romp in the snow with their kids, I on the other hand go out and photograph it. Oh well, right? I much prefer the spiked hot chocolate afterwards to the cold wet snow, but hey, that is just my opinion.

Bundled up and ready to go!

I seriously thought I was going to get them to sit still and maybe get a winter scene picture for the holiday card I have yet to send out... NOT !

I thought this was rather cute of Cait.

This is my new FAVORITE picture of Madison.

My poor Abby who never seems to be blog worthy, she really does love playing in the snow.

Turning on the Christmas lights. Notice Cait's face and how Abby is right in the mix. Abby doesn't want to be left out of any event.

We only lost one ornament and it was one of those glass balls. Nothing sentimental.

This is (the only) place Cait decorated. Madison did the same thing at her age.

I didn't forget me! Do you like all the crap on the stairs behind us?

The (staged) shot (where I am the only one who got the memo to actually look at the camera) putting the star on the tree. It is a $.97 plastic star that Randy and I got the year we were married saying, next year we are going to get a real topper...jump ahead 9 years and we are still saying the same thing.

That looks like soooo much fun! I MISS SNOW! But, I love that I could wear a cocktail dress to the party last night and be ok.

Cute photo of you all trimming the tree - good job!

What do you mean you need a good picture for your cards? You have like 200! I say go for a collage. Those pictures of the girls are priceless. They should be blown up to 8 by 10 or 11 by 14. You make decorating the tree look fun for everyone!

Those close ups of the girls are AWESOME. They look better than professional! I'm with Jo Anna! Do a shutterfly collage of your favorite photos from the year! I love all these photos!

At least you have a tree topper! We still don't have one and I keep tying ugly bows on the top of the tree!
