Attack of the (loss of) memory...Again

Today I was suppose to go down to Renee's house to watch her kids so she could go to an appointment. I remembered it all morning and then at 11:30, I looked at the clock, freaked out realizing that I needed to be there by 12:15. Since it is at least 40 minutes to get there with five minute load and unload time (minimum allotted time for unloading and loading of course), plus a 7 minute gas stop or we wouldn't have made it to begin with. Now I have never been good at public math, but I think that adds up to more than the 45 minutes I had (sorry Renee:( I hope you made it on time).

What is the deal? I have two really good happy days and I can't remember anything... Do I dwell on my schedule when I don't have happy days? I have thought about using a PDA or something like that, but I know I wouldn't remember to put the dates in there so it could remind me. Plus, I would probably have to have two reminders. One to remind me to get ready for it and then obviously one to tell me I should be on the road to the place. Maybe I should look into some of the herb memory enhancers..Any suggestions?

This seems SO out of the ordinary for you! I think we should blame this kind of stuff on our husbands (like everything else, of course!) I have the hardest time keepings my weeks straight because he comes and goes at different times each week and I never feel like I have any semblance of a schedule. So...there it is. It wasn't breastfeeding...it was marrying a pilot! :)

And the award goes to - Katie!

Is she a carpenter? Cuz she hit that nail on the head!

This has just been added to my 1001reasons to not marry a pilot.

Kids, kids, blame it on the kids. My memory went out the door after I had Salem.

i ahve been super spacey lately! i am the joke of kindermusik because i forgot two weeks in a row- we actually made there yesterday i was afraid everyone would clap... i get so used to my lax days of doing whatever on the rare occasion that i actually have to be somewhere at an appointed time it really throws me for a loop!
