My Memory is going with age

I have had two great days. I have been walking around unusually happy. On Wednesday, I work at a gymnastics gym an hour in the morning and the again that night. Well, I guess except today. I was sitting watching Madison play Webkinz when my phone rang. They asked me are you coming to work tonight?..DAMN, that put a damper on my good days. This is not a new schedule. I do it every week. I have figured out I have NO memory. It is also written on the calendar. So here is my reasoning for forgetting. I have a gym shirt I wear for the morning class. Normally I just leave it on. It is bright yellow and a constant reminder that I still have another work time. Today, I had an appointment in the afternoon and changed shirts. Therefore, no shirt, no reminder. I attribute my memory loss to my breastfeeding days. Seriously, I feel like my memory and most of my 'smarts' went from my brain to my boobs and the kiddos just sucked it out of me! The things we do for our kids!

They say your brain shrinks 8% during pregnancy. Supposedly it all comes back, but I don't know a mom who would say that is true!! I think I had this discussion with Katie once.

I hate when that happens! I have to constantly keep reminding myself that Julia has tumbling on Fri. afternoons. Everytime I remember again on Fri. it's a surprise.

Stuff like this happens to me ALL THE TIME. Especially when I overschedule (which i tend to do). A palm pilot with a reminder alarm for appointments has helped a little, but that also requires that I remember to charge it. Basically, I need a reminder to charge my reminder!
