Ode to MR. COFFEE

I once had a great affair. He would make me coffee every morning. He did have help of course. His friends Sweet and low and Coffee Mate French Vanilla. He was so diligent on waking me up each morning. I sadly fear he and I have to part for good. I just had an endoscopy done today and for a week now I have not had coffee. Well, the symptoms seem to be getting better. The GI doctor said that since I had stopped the coffee and was seeing improvements that could be the cause of my belly pain (and mild gastritis which probably was caused in part by the coffee)
Some people have mentioned to me that I could still keep my affair and then maybe just switch to decaf...Okay reality check. I don't like coffee that much, it was the CAFFEINE people. I am running around after two young children all day. I was actually using MR. COFFEE to help me get through the day.. Oh I am heartbroken. What ever will I drink out of my wonderfully huge coffee mug? What ever will help me get through the day??

Hooray! - Well, sort of. It could have been worse, right? And who needs caffeine anyway? You won't in a few more days! (how long does it take to become caffeine free? and I guess this means no subbing in Diet Coke or something?)

I don't know what the doctor told you about chocolate, but a gargantuan cup of flavored hot chocolate with a very healthy topping of Reddi-Whip whipped cream may help you ease the pain (I know it does me). I am very relieved to hear that it is nothing too serious and can be taken care of!

I would suggets hot chocolate from the mug too!
Decaf still has caffine, like NA wine/beer, they cannot get it all out. And, to be honest, most of it tastes like poopoo. Why drink it without the buzz I say. I had a starbucks cold drink (bremade from the fridge section) yesterday. My first coffee since starting to try to be preggers and it wasn't as good as I had hoped. Eventually you will say - What coffee?

I meant to add that I just read an article that state most restuarants that serve decaf, it still has the caffine content of a regular coke.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your breakup. What about hot chocolate? I know, no caffiene. But it's hot! and tasty!
