Pillars Complete!
I finally finished Pillars of the Earth tonight. I think the last few days I have totally neglected my girls, husband and family. I was so close I could taste it. Well, I finally did it. What a fabulous book. Now what should I read, any suggestions? (I think I need a Pillars break, so maybe not the sequel just yet.)

I'm reading The Time Traveler's Wife - which is pretty good so far. My neighbor/friend said to tell her when I'm done because she's read it and we can talk about it. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time was great, too - and quicker.
If you need to borrow "The Di Vinci Code", let me know. It is a great read! Another idea I have is to reread a book that you loved when you were a kid. Two of my favorites were "Tiger Eyes" by Judy Blume and "The Lottery Rose" by I can't remember. It is nice because they are usually quick reads and take you back to a simpler time. Also if you like descriptive, day in the life of someone kind of authors, read anything by Rosemunde Pilcher. She is my favorite author. Or, maybe "In the Garden of Good and Evil". It is a little warped, but is great and will make you want to travel to Savannah. If you need any of these, I have them for you to borrow. Sorry I babbled on so! Have a good night!
I am getting ready to read cheesy chic lit for the summer. Our book club is a little burnt out on serious and thought provoking books so we started the summer series. We are starting with Confessions of a Shopaholic which is slated to become a movie next spring. Can't wait!
