Easter happened over the course of a couple days. On Monday, there was a egg hunt at Nana's house. Notice the jammies. Nothing, like egg hunting in jammies and coats.
Nana doesn't have A dishwasher, she has MANY little dishwashers. My mom (Nana) is so patient. She lets the kids wash the dishes, make brownies, she goes outside with them and they all work on the yard. Seriously, she can get them to do anything and they think they are doing some sort of fun thing. I wish I had the patience for that. She doesn't care if they splash water, spill or eat the brownie mix or make more of a mess outside than helping.
The girls got one of those hand held fans for Easter. Guess what Cait did? Oh yes, I was combing out dread locks for almost 30 minutes. Have you ever tried to get your 2 year old to sit for 30 minutes while you yank on her hair? I did manage to save most of it. There was a little bit that just couldn't be saved.
The girls found glasses in Kimmy's room and thought they needed to have a picture wearing them. Notice Cait's face. She isn't mad, she has her arms folded and is acting cool~

Wednesday we went to Randy's dad's house. There is a new baby around those parts. Randy's brother John just had a baby named Matthew. I love newborn feet. He is under a week old. I didn't know how they would feel to have pictures of their baby on the Internet, so I will just share his toes
This is the biggest bottle of catsup. We had lunch with one of my college friends and on the way Madison saw this. We play the game "do you see what I see" in the car to pass the time. Recently I introduced her to water towers. So when this water tower was coming near, I made sure she saw it. It is one of those monuments that sparks many memories. It's not too far from my college, so we would see it every time we went to the mall. College was such an experience wasn't it?
i caught this as we were going by out the side window. I like the angle of it.
I think that is probably all you can handle today right? I am sure you are dosing and it is probably the middle of the day. I think I will hold off until tomorrow for more photos.

I'm so happy to hear that you all have had such a great break from regular life - breaks are very important for all involved I think. My mom is like yours - she can let the kids make messes and not mind - how do they do it????
I haven't been posting because, although we didn't travel, we acted like we were on vacation. tourists in our own town if you will. It was the best of both worlds. My pictures are NOTHING like yours though. In other words, no one should ever let me take pictures! Can you come over and take ours?
Keep the pictures of your beautiful family coming - I LOVE them!
Wonderful photos!
LOve that water tower! And you camera hams are cute as always.
Very cute! Looks like the girls had tons of fun. What is it about grandmas that can get kids to do just about anything and it's magical? At least until you hit about 12-13... Glad you had a good Easter!
