How do you do it?

I read a few people's blog who talk about the writings they do and other daily things. One lady talked about how she blogs, has a regular journal and a gratitude journal. Her list of books are amazing and she has multiple children.

Some other people I know read like crazy, have all kinds of shows they watch on TV, Do netflix or something similar, have amazingly clean houses and volunteer , etc. How in the world do you get it all accomplished? I just can't see how you people can remember to get it all in? I can't remember to take my stupid vitamin everyday let alone all the other things you do with such ease.

Would all of you please enlighten me??

Chance upon your blog and you've got beautiful children. What got me interested is your comment about not having enough time to complete your girls' scrapbook pages!! Same here! My son is 6 months old (in 2 weeks) and I have only done 3 pages ONLY, and it's just an 8X8 page scrapbook! haha...motherhood is indeed a full time and possibly and overtime job!

You are getting WAY more done than me, so I'd be the wrong person to ask! I just turned down PTO president because I know my limitations!

You are being too hard on yourself. They are getting that stuff done, because they are not getting some things done that you ARE! Also, do these people have husbands who come home every night? Makes a BIG difference!

Man, I wonder the same damn thing every single day too! What do you think the secret is? The momma's around here that I know all take their children to Mom's Morning Outs 2-3 times a week. I can't say I agree with it ( why have children if you don't want to spend time with them and most of them are infants for crying out loud), BUT they always have the cleanest homes and are always put together!

I think I would rather have a messy house and spend more time with my kids :)

I agree with Noel on the messy house and time with kids - but I still feel guilty and sometimes wish the house wasn't covered end to end with Stuff. I'd get more done- or different stuff done - if I turned off the computer more and didn't spend my evenings with the TV on at all. Or if I quit reading. Or doing laundry.

I don't do it. I have a trashed house at all moments, I am lucky if I get a shower in.....I do manage to read by doing that before bed at night. If I would give up napping I swear I could get more done, but what fun would that be!?

Maryb, I don't have any concept of having a husband home at the same time everynight. I guess in my head, everyone leads the same kind of life as us. It is still hard to understand how people get so much done.

The ONLY time I get anything done is after 8pm when the kids go to bed, or during their nap/quiet time in the afternoon. I am strict that my kids adhere to nap and bed times because that is "mommy" time. :)

I sew, I clean, I Netflix, and I read like crazy! Oh and on nice days I sit outside and read while the kids play. They are happy that I am just out there with them.

I find that I can always find a way to squeeze in something I really want to do! Even if it means staying up until midnight to do it and being exhausted the next day. :)

If you would hault your addiction to those trashy soap operas and stop soaking in the tub with your celebrity rag magazines.... stop eating all those bon-bons and gettiing daily massages from the spa... that would leave you much more time for all that other stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!he-he!

I sleep WAYYYYYY less than I need to. And I do the majority of my blogging while the baby naps and my son gets a little play-on-his-own time.
