I think it is the end of soccer...for now anyway.

But,we might try again later.
Today was Madison's last session in soccer. By the looks of the pictures, I really need to learn to use the camera better. I couldn't get the shutter speed fast enough. I think in my defense some of the reasoning was the not so great light. I could be wrong, but I think we will roll with that.

Madison just hasn't really attached to soccer. She is super aggressive with Randy and I when we play with her, but when you add a team or other coaches, she is very timid. It is frustrating to sit on the side and watch her be so stand off-ish when I know she pushes Randy and I out of the way if we go to get the ball. She got a metal and I had the camera off when it was given to her. STUPID ME!

So here are a few pictures from the afternoon. Sheila (Randy's mom) came up to see her play and then we went to lunch after that. They just love when she comes up. Sorry about the blurry ones.

This is the main time she touches the ball, when she is the one who gets to throw it in.
This is what she does a lot. Standing, watching, just far enough out of harms way, but close enough to still be considered participating.
Oh, look, still just behind the crowd, but running
This shot although blurry looks like she is running towards the ball. OF course when she gets close, she all but stops and lets someone else kick it.

Here too. Close but, no just far enough away.
Slapping hands and saying good game. Poor blue team never won, and maybe only scored once or twice at most. In their defense, they had 7 people on the team the first week and then there was anywhere from 4 to 6 after that. An hour of running without substitutes is a hard thing to do.
Here is the whole motley crew!

I just love these two pictures of Madison.

And then there is Cait. She comes up to the lens and looks in it saying" take me piktoo! (picture)
Then she raises her shirt and says "you take ma belly"

So I did

Sheila played with her on the sidelines while I took some pictures of her team.

I played soccer once. I mostly remember watching the birds migrate. Maybe if it was a team of her girl-friends she'd be more into it? Seems like everything is more fun with a bunch of girlfriends!

Madison looks so cute playing soccer! Even if she wasn't that into it, at least she looked good doing it!
