productive saturday

Here I am on another Saturday night with nothing to read. Here is a low down on what I did today.

Katie came over today around 9 or so. We were SO productive today. The downside to it, we spent the entire day in the basement and I didn't realize that it was so pretty outside. I accomplished three pages to which I am extremely happy with. I think Katie got in the neighborhood of about 30 pages done.. Okay, that is over estimating a little, but she did get a lot done and some started for next time! The girls all played well, and then took a good nap. Becca slept over 2 hours and it wasn't even her bed. Besides not going outside, the day went super fast and it was nice to have adult conversation for me and another playmate for the girls. I love when people come to my house.. Remember that! Please come any time.

It is unfortunate both of my children have a deployment page in their first year books. Here is the first two pages.

Of course the black blank spot on the bottom is for journal-ing.

I think Katie was happy when I finished this page. I can't help but laugh at these three pictures every time I look at them. Cait had just gotten done with her bath in Renee's big farm sink. She had birthday cake ALL over her and that was the easiest spot to clean her up. When she was around one she would make this kind of giggle. I just happened to catch it on film. I still hear the little squeal/giggle in my head. (also, I love the paper and have wanted to use it for a long time.) The black blank space is also for journal-ing. When I was trying to figure out a title, I think Katie said how about laugh. It just seemed fitting.

Now these I didn't do today, but I did do them earlier this week. It is a Stampin Up card for a retreat I am going to this weekend. Rochelle, my sister in law is heading it up. I am meeting Jennifer down there, to which I am way excited.(did I mention it was without children? I don't think I have ever flown by myself since I have had children. ) I haven't seen her in a year. I am talking about the person who I saw almost everyday in Alaska and talked to a couple times on the phone per day. Anyway, I made 32 of these. The picture really doesn't do them justice. I really like it.

No, I love the "laugh" page!I loved it that it made you giggle everytime you looked at it! That is just about the best thing that a scrapbook could ever capture!!!

We had a great time. I was shocked by how warm and sunny it was when we emerged! :)

The pages and card look awesome! I am so happy you got to have a "kind of" adult day and you get to have an entire adult weekend! I haven't quite figured how to do those things yet, but I'm sure it comes with time. I am just trying to catch up on life!
Cait's face is the absolute best in those pics!

I wish I lived there. NONE of my girlfriends here scrapbook and it drives me up the flippin' wall. They all roll their eyes at me when I even mention the thought of pulling all the crap out to do so. Wine won't even get them to come over. I don't understand, someone serving wine could make me do just about anything!
