So it is SUPER quiet here today. Dad, Becky, and Kimmy went home yesterday afternoon. The fallout is "Mommy, can you play with me? Mommy, when are they coming back?, Mommy where are we going? Mommy can we go outside?"
We miss them. I miss having someone to talk to. My dad washed, waxed and vacuumed the Expedition and the car while he was here. I never had to touch the trash or recycle while he was here. Usually Randy is gone on those days and I end up taking out the trash. I went outside to collect the trash can and it was already back in its place. By 8:30 in the morning. Score for me! My poor dad and Becky had to endure hours of "mom and dad" It is a game/pretending the girls do. They are in fact the kids and the grown-ups are the mom and dad. I know they are pretending because they never say daddy and mommy, just mom and dad. I don't know how many games Becky played with the girls. I lost track mid week. Poor Kimmy, I don't think she had a moment too herself. She had one shadow ALL the time and sometimes, up to three shadows (when Renee's Meghan was around) We didn't go too many places, but it seems like the week FLEW by. We went to Renee's to swim a couple of times, Madison had her birthday and party and we HAD to eat out a few times.
We had a Dr's. apt for Abby this morning. She abscessed an anal gland (what a pretty picture huh?) last week. We just had to recheck her to make sure it cleared up. Other than that, we don't have ANYTHING to do today. (well, if you don't count the unending loads of laundry, the house cleaning and the blogging catch up.)

Oh I hate the quiet house after company. Hope you're finding ways to keep it exciting!
Well, at least you have your priorities straight with getting a blog out there right away! :)
I hate the quiet house after guests leave too. It sucks.

You know what always helps me with the quiet house? Music. Crank it up, sister.
