Have I gone totally crazy? (that was probably more of a rhetorical question, no need to answer that!) We were at Joann fabrics the other day I started to ask the girls what they wanted to be for Halloween. The good thing is they picked the same costume. The bad thing is obviously I have a hard head and I didn't learn from last year (even though they turned out well). So Sheila (Randy's mom) I hope you are available to help.
Oh crap, I just read the review and it said it is for advanced sewers.. CRAP CRAP CRAP. Okay Joanna, surely I can use this pattern, and simplify it more to my ability right? It is a costume for goodness sakes, it doesn't need to be lined. Joanna this would be your cue to help across cyberspace!
I figured I am starting early and maybe I will be able to go with plan b if needed.

Those look AWESOME!! You can do it!
Wow! I am sure you can do it... And you're completely right since they're costumes you can probably simplify the sewing a lot! (didn't you use velcro on the ones last year? see? you already know how!) I can't wait to see them!
I am so impressed. Sewing is the one domestic chore that I really cannot bring myself to even attempt. Which! is very funny considering that i won some sort of county and district sewing competition inthe eighth grae and even made my own graduation dress (with my mom's help). Also, my mother is a sewing, smocking, embroidering, heirloom lace work, crazy woman. Yet, I STILL loathe all handiwork type craftiness.
I get exhausted just thinking about all that you manage to do. Im givng you a standing ovation!
Note to self, I must go back and edit blogs. Obviously (as Maryb thinks) i have let on that i get a lot done. If you lived here, you would know how UNDONE I have become in the last 5 years.
Can't wait to see how they turn out!!
