Does this ever happen to you?

Do you ever get on a roll and realize that you are rolling every way but the main way you should be rolling?

My example: I have been getting through a LOT of clutter and general crap in my house. One one hand, I should be very excited with how much I have accomplished. On the other hand the main room I should be working on, my nemesis the office, is still looming over my head like a black cloud. I just can't seem to bring myself to work on it. All my accomplishments in the rest of the house are shadowed. Why can't I seem to accomplish it?

I do that with knitting I am getting some stuff done but I keep casting on new projects when I have one baby sweater waiting for me to finish.

Oh, I hear you. We have family getting in this week and I HAVE to tackle the office/scrapbook/junk room; but I just can't bring myself to do it. I'll wait until the very last possible minute to finish it... up until the point where they'll be at our doorstep!

Maybe it is because you have such a project looming...it just makes those smaller projects seem much more do-able! Once you get started on the office, though, nothing will stop you! Just wait until you're ready!
