Farm Fair

The girls and I ventured through the heat to go to the Farm Fair today. We left early as to beat some of the heat, but as we were leaving it was super warm. I was extremely excited about the day. It was the most cost efficient thing I have done with them in a long time. It was $7 for me to get in, but free for both girls. The girls were given two vouchers. One for a free peanut butter and jelly sandwich and one for a small free snow cone. I bought a pulled pork sandwich (and it came with chips) for $6. ALL the kids stuff was free. They had a ton of little games, ring hoops, plinko, face painting, 5 different moon bounces, and all of them were play until you win and did I mention FREE?? The prizes were those oriental trading company toys (you know the ones that come with 1000 pieces of little plastic crap!) Even though it was hot, the girls seem to really have a good time. I didn't have the stroller in the truck, so Cait had to walk the entire time and I had to carry all the "stuff" that comes along with it. (hence the reason I only took 4 pictures.)

We could have walked, but the girls wanted to ride the "yellow school bus"

Madison has had way too many photos taken. She said look mom, do you want to take a picture of us here.

Free snow cones to finish off the day. Cait's face is painted with a rainbow and Madison's arm is painted with a vine and flowers.
