tornado (or so it seemed)

The next morning I woke up with an excitement about me. I thought I had really accomplished something on Friday night. Well, when I came downstairs I thought maybe a tornado had come through in the night and destroyed everything I had done the day before (previous post). Actually, I had created that huge mess and didn't even realize it. I was so disappointed when I saw it. Although I did all the stuff I wrote in the previous post, I inadvertently created a bigger mess in the process.

Bummer.

Oh and I have cleaned the stainless no less than 3 times today alone and have swept twice and my girls have started getting out their miniature cleaning supplies and started cleaning. Do you think there is a little OCD in this house?

OH and I went with the St. Cecilla granite. I hope it all turns out alright. Wouldn't that be great if I had a counter tops by the end of this week? Wishful thinking...

Oh yeah- good for you to be decluttering so much! That is going to pay off once it's cleared out. I know there's always this disastrous transition time when we're trying to organize things in our house.

I liked your comment about little care packages for the teachers for PT conferences. I'm so new with just my kindergartener, I am still learning how I can help them out. And sorry to leave you in the dark about what General Conference is. It's a World Conference of our church. They broadcast it from Salt Lake, & we are lucky enough to get it on cable out here. Anyway, here's a newsarticle link that may explain a little:

Get thee to the store and purchase some stainless wipes! They are like clorox wipes just for Stainless. Only polish once per week. I promise you WILL get less neurotic after the first six months or so! Either that or Ill come visit you in the loony bin....the drawback to stainless...but glass is still WAY worse IMO, so theres that.

I have also been purging. I think for me it's so that we don't get the stuff in our house from the field since we live in the country. I bet your countertops will be great!
