While in my absence

I have been wanting to post for a while now but was trying to figure out my camera to put pictures on there. I load all of my pictures in to the Fuji software called FinePix. I can't seem to get Canon to load in that. It all seems simple right? Load the pictures in the software given by the computer? Well, I have a system for labeling pictures. Are you ready, it is an amazing way to name your photos. I name the file by the date. I know sounds simple right? Start like this: If I took 40 pictures today, I would name the first one o80101001 the the next one would be 080101002 and so on. It makes it nice because then when you are looking for a file, you ALWAYS know the date it was taken (that works really well with my girls because they have similar photos in the same outfits). The thing that sucks, Fuji software did it for me so I didn't have to type each one in separately. SUCK!
So, I won't be able to post the photos I took this weekend with my "new baby Canon40D" , but until I figure it out, I will post a few pictures of my sweet niece baby Paige (I took them with a my brother-in-laws Canon XTI). I LOVE photographing baby feet. It is kind of ironic because I really hate feet. Most of these photos are not your standard photos. I love bits and pieces of babies. I took a ton of these, but have had time to only play with a few of them.

They stay this little for such a short amount of time.

Everything is better when daddy's hand is around.

I actually didn't take this, that is my neck I cut out. I asked Jon to take it because I knew it would be a good photo.

There is something about this one I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!

Classic sleeping shot. (in sepia)

So cute I could just eat her up.

I was going to cut Paige out of it, but I loved how Jon's hands and Paige's feet are in focus and she is hanging out in the background.

This is an earlier one but it is put into an antique color. I loved the way they turned out. I put many of the above shots in this same color scheme. The outfit Paige had on had little pink flowers and in the antique coloring, that is what is most predominate. LOVE IT!

I love those photos of hands and feet! My mom was always taking pictures of all the kids' feet... but hers were not nearly as good as yours! you're really good with pictures! (I know it helps to have such a cute subject, but still...)

The last antique colored one is my FAVORITE!!!! I just told Andrew that he NEEDS to buy me the camera Randy bought you for Christmas. I don't think he'll fall for it, but it's worth a shot, right?
