pre demo continues

I moved the playroom downstairs and I un-packed some of those boxes that I had taken down earlier. I didn't get any of the cabinets down. I think they will be too heavy for me to unscrew and also hold the cabinet up.

Katie and Becca came over after nap today. I always look forward to their visits. It always helps the day go by so much faster. And I am usually productive too even if it is just my mouth (but usually there is some scrap booking going on!)

Katie went into my new kitchen (read: Laundry room) and asked me if i knew the floor was wet. I think the water heater is leaking. GREAT! I am trying to stay optimistic on this whole adventure, but is the universe trying to tell me something...

the things that have gone on since deciding to do the kitchen:

*The first designer came back with $65,000 dollars and everything she said we could move (duct work etc) could not be moved (so if we would have gone with her, it would have been closer to $75,000. Really for a kitchen?

*The second designer didn't get the plans to me for about 6 weeks.

*Then when he did get them too me, I didn't get the WOW factor.

*We start demo tomorrow without any official plans.

*THE WATER HEATER IS LEAKING.

*The 3rd designer was suppose to have the plans done last Friday. His dad got sick and he had to go to Ohio.

*There was a death in my family and I went home Tuesday -Thursday. (I high tailed it back here so I could be here for the Friday kitchen design that never happened.)

*My grandma has been having issues that my poor mom has been having to deal with.

*My mom had something show up on an x-ray (chiropractic) that looked like there was a spot on her lung (after she went to the doctor, the radiologist concluded it was the x-ray and nothing on her lung but still.. SCARY)

*While I was home, Randy had to work during the day and took the girls to Renee's house. She had my 2, her 3 and 3 extras and her middle one had to go to the ER. She had to find someone to watch the rest of them while she got him squared away (update: he is on the mend) +she had a Jonas Brothers concert to go to that night with three of the kids.

What do you think? I am trying to send out good vibes... good vibes, good vibes, good vibes.......

You've been dealing with a lot. But don't worry! I don't think these are bad signs... I think it is just a pain in the ass being a homeowner and dealing with renovations no matter what! Keep up with the good vibes. Eventually you'll have a brand new awesome kitchen!
